Biography

Alexander Shumskikh was born in 1972 in Moscow, USSR.
In 1994 has ended the State Academy of Management as Information Technologist.
With 1995, besides the basic work in IT sphere, he began to travel on the Russian North, the place which has become lately a place of creation of alternative style of life.
In 2001 he has received blessing of archbishop Petrozavodsk and Karelian Manuil on erection of a wooden temple in Kolodozero, Pudozh district. Since that moment major efforts have been concentrated for the construction of a temple and the organization of a community.
In 2005 priest Arcady Shlykov serves the first Divine Liturgy.
First photos were taken at childhood by 'Zenit' and other Soviet cameras. Comprehension of direct participation in a photo has come subsequently.
Since 2006 — member of the Noga Creative Union.
