Biography
Carola Allemandi was born in 1997 in Turin, Italy.
After graduating from high school with a focus on languages, independently discovered photography while attending the first year of the Faculty of Psychology in Turin. She attended photography courses held by Mosè Franchi in Turin and collaborated for about three years at Studio Ottaviano before starting to work independently as a photographer and artist.
Since 2019 she has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Italian galleries and museums.
Since 2021 Carola has been writing about photography as a publicist and columnist for various magazines, including 'Doppiozero', 'Snaporaz', 'Siamomine', 'Discorsi Fotografici' and manages the column for Torino Magazine 'The contact of the eye with reality'.
Allemandi collaborates on the course 'Photography techniques' at Politecnico di Torino.
In 2021 she created the images for the artist book Anatomia Umana by Salvatore Astore.
In 2022 she published a poetry anthology, Sembra il Sole, for the publishing house Edizioni Progetto Cultura of Rome for the Le Gemme series, edited by Cinzia Marulli.
Since 2025 — author of articles on photography in the Noga Creative Union.
