Kazan: Manifestation of the Past

Almost all the photos in this series were taken in the 90s, in Kazan. At that time I worked for the Tatarstan Yashlere newspaper published in Tatar. However, the photographs of the Kazan series are not the result of editorial assignments, but were taken on personal initiative, as a continuation of my amateur photographic attempts to tell the stories of people in which viewers would find their interest. These stories would be an extension of their own experiences. It is important to me that the story fits into one frame, which does not require the author’s commentary — ‘what I wanted to say with this’ ….
