NCU opens a new page of inexorable immersion into the aesthetics and existentiality of documentary photography by presenting a series of articles, essays and biographies of the fate and work of the most prominent representatives of this genre. Or at least close to it.
The first author published in the new section is Lida Litvinova with a description of the significant stages of formation, rise and untimely departure of the outstanding Italian photographer Marco Pesaresi. Looking at Pesaresi’s images, one can’t help but draw a parallel between photography and true poetry, and it’s no accident, Marco was indeed a poet in his soul, in love, in the nuances of life, in photography.
