NCU officially represents Evgeny Kanaev, who became a member of the Creative Union in 2015. More than forty years of Evgeny’s photographic life have been devoted to his native land. The Middle Volga region appears in the master’s series as a historical cross-section of the environment close to him, which is not subject to temporal characteristics.
And Quiet Flows the Volga
The first series of Eugene’s on the NCU is called 'And Quiet Flows the Volga'. A leisurely look at the photographs of this series, from the first to the last frame, imperceptibly immerses us in the atmosphere of a quiet and serene existence in the territory adjacent to the middle course of the Volga River, a quarter of a century long.
