Victor Ratushny was born 1952 allegedly in the Vinnytsia region, Ukrainian SSR.
Based in Odessa, Ukraine.

Photographer Viktor Ratushny is called an asset of Odessa. Today we are happy to state that Victor has become a full member and an asset of the NCU. Ratushnyi is individual, independent, deep in judgement and visual representation. His analogue shooting and authentic prints consistently retain the best traditions of a simultaneously artistic and documentary take on photography. Odessa in the 80s, New York at the turn of the century, a long Indian trip, the revelations of Mount Athos and Europe… These experiences are yet to be understood and appreciated. Viktor Ratushny continues his amazing journey through time.

New York Before and After

We present the first series of Victor’s work on the NCU, New York Before and After. The project lasts 12 years, which the photographer lived in America, after which he returned to his native Odessa.
